Can Mont Alpi BBQ Islands Sit Flush Against A Wall?

It is not recommended to do this.

If the wall material is not combustible, it is possible to place your BBQ island close to a wall provided proper ventilation is in place. Please ask a licensed professional to install your BBQ island to ensure this.

If the wall material is combustible, the manufacturer recommends the following:

  • Minimum clearance from the sides of the unit to combustible construction is 24 inches.
  • Minimum clearance from back of unit to combustible construction is 36 inches.
